Meet Dr. Yoshikane
 Dr. Terrie Yoshikane has practiced orthodontics in the North County San Diego area for over 20 years. She prides herself on treating people the way she would like to be treated… with courtesy, respect, and genuine caring. Her treatment decisions are based on one thing — what is best for you, the patient. She is known for creating beautiful, natural smiles with less need for extractions, and balanced, attractive facial profiles. In addition to caring for her patients, she is also committed to serving her community and the orthodontic profession. "I love the long-term friendships we develop. Being able to change people's lives and give them beautiful smiles is incredible. I can't think of another profession I'd rather have!" When she is not creating beautiful smiles and happy patients, Dr. Yoshikane enjoys fly fishing, skiing, cooking, volleyball, and mostly spending time with her family. She donates her orthodontic services to help transfrom the lives of children with cleft lip or palate or other orthodontic challenges. Fresh Start's Mission: Fresh Start Surgical Gifts enhances the lives of disadvantaged infants, children and teens with physical deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse, or disease through the gift of reconstructive surgery and related healthcare services.
